I was commissioned to animate a web mascot for FRUGA TM, a beverage brand, as part of a website experience designed to guide users toward their purchase button. The character, CAM the Chameleon, needed to be lively, charming, and on-brand.
The main challenge was to create a realistic, natural motion within a cartoon aesthetic. This was my first time animating an animal, which led me to research real chameleon movement to create a believable animation that still felt playful and fun.
After several rounds of feedback, I delivered a version that both the client and I were proud of, and that helped bring the character to life in a meaningful way.
